Re: How does db and pb work in a melee fight?

IF all you wanted to know is if there is any stacking at all that is relatively simple. Given we assume displayed value = max roll and that the xdy setup is identical for each of the bonus rolls, and that stacking is a rated sum not a separate roll. ob = pb db=0 (test1) ob = db pb=0 (test2) ob = 2xp...

Re: How does db and pb work in a melee fight?

The thing brought up by Draz and Raeza are interesting, but not enough for me to make any mathematical conclusion. I've noticed that sometimes it says you "dodge" the attack, and other times it says that you "parry" or "deflect" the attack. If these correspond to a fail...

Re: How does db and pb work in a melee fight?

This is a hard one to test. The multiple variable ob(attacker), dodge(defender), and parry(defender) would need a very rigorous testing system to isolate and control individual variables. And without knowing the individual roll values for the three independent variables it would need a large data se...

Re: Rule change

There is a risk you take because that's the way the game is played, and it's the players choice to take that risk and then there is a risk you have to take because of the limitations of the game mechanics. Just because it's "always been this way" doesn't mean that the mechanics of it aren...

Not PK, but funny... * HP:Beaten MV:Fresh - Jaros: Wounded - the lich: Critical > sa i beat Naji slashes the lich's left leg into bloody fragments! You pound the lich's body into bloody fragments! A brigand sentry slashes your left leg. A brigand sentry barely slashes your head. A brigand sentry tic...

Re: The Memory of a Child of Light never fades.

I think something that was really touching was that Tommy's family was watching it on Twitch live. I think that they were touched by the ceremony. When I am feeling down I listen to Tommy on Youtube. I love that it makes me feel like I am in bar with him. Tommy 9 Fingers Quarter on the Mainline http...

The Memory of a Child of Light never fades.

An Edited log of Seeras Memorial. I started editing on March 10th, just after the anniversary of the memorial from March 8, 2014. Vivienne had posted on FB about Paxle and since I was not there for Paxle's memorial when it was dedicated I decided to work on this. Some liberty was taken with sequence...
