Re: Baerlon CTF bug?

Any reason why the governor (and I believe armorer) in DS baerlon are flagged as creature type "dreadlord"? They don't respond to locate life dreadlord or kill dreadlord, but their items (jade ring, stack of large metal shields, etc.) locate as "carried by a dreadlord." This just...

Re: Combat skills formulas

I could have sworn there were records of *mounted* stabs by non-fades (e.g. sneak not on; clearly not hidden) that on very rare occasions succeeded against low level targets. This is such a corner case that it really doesn't matter, but I do wonder where the (tiny) success percentage came from, if s...

Re: Weapons Crafting

Always thought if an Aes Sedai found I had an angreal of any kind, she'd ask for it and then find suitable payment for the item. I wouldn't know what the item was, but I'd happy I sold the thing. (as a merchant selling Jade carvings or some such. How would I know what it is, it's just Jade to me.) ...

Re: Weapons Crafting

1. Don't do it in front of a Tower member But there's much more fall out than just: do the actual crafting discreetly. There's the whole new push to trade for and smob for such things. If you really do have rp issues with it then I suggest not crafting using angreal on your Tower alt and obtaining ...

Re: Weapons Crafting

My biggest worry is that making angreal directly useful in crafting makes tower rp particularly awkward. If we are going to be held to the bookish "all angreal are tower property" position, which has been the case as long as I've played, we're going to end up with either a lot of unhappy s...

Reyne wrote:Try with the server name rather than IP address? I *think* since we migrated to a new server the IP is dynamic so it might change from boot to boot. I just logged on and it connected to 34.217.254.118 on port 2224.

Server address: game.wotmud.org
Port: 2224

Excellent. That worked. Thanks, Reyne!

Down, address change, or problem on my end?

Haven't logged on in a long while, and now I try to log in, and mudlet is hanging on: [ OK ] - mudlet-lua API & Geyser Layout manager loaded. [ INFO ] - looking up the IP address of server:72.52.169.8:2224 ... [ INFO ] - The IP address of 72.52.169.8 has been found. It is: 72.52.169.8 [ INFO ] -...

If the mud crashes, I'm guessing it's from Weir's rat trophy getting too big!
