Anyway, what keeps me playing (for however long I do whenever I do come back to it) is just the social aspect above all else. I don't really play the game as competitively as I used to. I tend to play almost exclusively socially, in a relaxed, low-stress inducing manner. I genuinely just log in to hang out with people here and that's good enough for me. Whatever we do - I'm down and we can chill. It's also more fun to play together with friends IRL. Got about a dozen good friends that I play games together with, including wotmud sometimes and that's always fun.
I think for any game, rotation is fairly important so you don't get burnt out on any one game. I can get really philosophical about that concept, but I'm sure we're good here lol.
Though, despite all the things that can cause my interest to wander from the game, I always end up coming back to get a little bit of that wotmud action.
