mountain range dwarfs you, and covers the sky as far as you can see along the
horizon. The smallest of the peaks rise in front of you, but the base of the

Dying Plains in the Blight
These plains squish in a disgusting manner with even the slightest
pressure. A small and faint ooze leaks from the ground where too much
weight creates furrows in the ground. To the east the Blight appears lusher
and riper, although the death and decay that permeates the air here is
replaced there by a sickly sweet odor that is no more healthy.

The ragged wastes of the blight slowly begin to take on some semblance
of a feature beyond wasted grass and mutated insects. Slowly emerging
from the dirt, the beginnings of a dark road appear, becoming stronger
as it leads into the wastes to the north. What appear to be broken
stalks of old weeds become weathered wooden pikes, intermingled with
newer metal shafts, each complete one bearing the scored and dried
skeleton of a long dead creature, left as a warning to all who would
travel a road of the Dark One.

Desolate Plains
The ground is pitted and stained, with small fissures running north
and south. The fissures seem to be the hiding places of many things shy of even
the meager light here, small pale maggots and small spiders. These plains are
scattered with calcified bushes, ancient and more dead than something that has
never been alive.

Rocky Plains
The ground here is cracked and dry. Many small fissures scatter the landscape,
and in the bottom of some of them there is a hint of a low, red glow. The area
is scattered with large rocks and boulders, as if thrown to the ground by a
haphazard giant playing. There is nothing to eat and nothing to drink here.

This is an area of rather flat hills. The hills are barren, forlorn things
cracked and torn by time. The hills are utterly lifeless, except for poisonous,
slimy things sliding under the rocks. There are also small blotches of greenish
fungi that leave a cloying, sick smell in the dry air.

These green plains are colorful compared to the rest of these plains, but it
is not an improvement. Seemingly lush and green at a first glance, this place
is covered with a sickening, caustic layer of cancerous growth. The areas where
the growth is touched, it tears away revealing a flesh colored smudge that
seems to bleed a brownish, clear fluid. It seems this is the only thing capable
of existing here in the tainted lands.

Barren Hills
These hills are low mounds of rock covered by tattered mounds of gray, sandy
earth. The entire landscape consists only of huge rocks barely covered by weak
sand. Here a misstep can cause severe injuries, and the going is slow. Some
places a ragged skeleton can be seen, half caught in one of the cracks, the
other part scattered and broken, fought over by scavengers long dead.

unpleasant. This is not a grass meadow to walk barefoot in in the spring.

This area was a plain a long time ago. Since that time, though, the earth has

north. The little that is left of these plains has been churned into a muddy
substance. Over it all is a thick layer of soot from the north and a
sulphurous fog from the east. A dismal path extends west towards a large
range of mountains.

Path Through the Mountains
The air is thinner here, and a brisk breeze blows much of the fetid stench
of decay away. A treacherous scramble slopes sharply down to a trail several
hundred feet below, a mire of loose rock and sickly plants. A ragged pass
has been ripped through the peak beginning here, the sickly scar leading
southwards towards the heart of the mountain.

is relatively free of obstruction, mainly being littered by many loose rocks.

Before an Ascending Path
Dismal mountains rise up to the north and west, their stony spires seem to
touch the murky clouds that loom overhead. A narrow path ascends up into the

I enjoyed it.

Was that a wicked knife bladed axe? Whatever it was, it landed bashes more often than I would have expected. I wonder if Mikhan had forgotten to armor himself. Shame he didn't dismount before hitting Mire, would have possibly helped. Good job sticking around low and vs a DL, Lord Weir.

I also think it’s a good log.

Mikhan goes hard and isn’t soft. Fight started beat to full.

Weir stuck around and played it out. Even though he was two heavy weaves to dead, I imagine anyway. Definitely qualifies as an ouch

Crit Razhak vs crit Isabel and Dixon in blight/gap/orch. We were all 3 regenning a bit because they sat ragan/orch well.. and I sat in blight.
