Bug abuse or coding problem?

A muzzled trolloc joins the burly trolloc's fight!
A muzzled trolloc joins a muzzled trolloc's fight!
A muzzled trolloc joins a muzzled trolloc's fight!
A muzzled trolloc joins a muzzled trolloc's fight!
The burly trolloc crushes Weir's right arm hard.
Your heartbeat calms down more as you feel less panicked.
The fighting is too thick and heavy for you to enter the fray!
*Weir* clumsily approaches you with a set of steel sai, but you fend off the attack.
You wish that your wounds would stop BLEEDING so much!

[kill human]
The fighting is too thick and heavy for you to enter the fray!

* HP:Critical MV:Tiring > [kill h.human]
The fighting is too thick and heavy for you to enter the fray!

The fighting is too thick and heavy for you to enter the fray!

ok. so before this gets stupid fast lemme say i do understand max engage. what i dont understand is if hes max engaged and i cannot hit him, why is his timer still able to land when hes engage is already maxed by the time his timer finishes.

Because... that's just how stab/charge work? Provided you don't get hit rolling the timer, it doesn't matter if you are max engaged by the time it finishes. This is why it's always a good idea to walk out if you can't engage.
