1. Agree with this. I don't actually have a problem with the [w] DL, the problem for me is that after getting the DL you wanted, you immediately walked back into them by going E. Remember that when running, the important thing isn't always distance, it's more about getting to the next room where you can reset, either by regenning mvs or determining your route when you're eventually hit again.

Against good chasers, you either have to know the zones perfectly, run like hell, and hope you don't get aggroed, or you have to anticipate that you will be caught, and have a plan. Assuming you will be caught is usually smarter, since it makes you conserve moves rather than running yourself hagg. There are good spots in stedding to do that, but getting to orchard and finding a room there would have worked too. Tunnels is a good zone to have in your back pocket, too. It's really rare for anyone to chase very far into tunnels, and can give you time if you have friends around who can regroup and meet you at one of the entrances.

2. I think the main reason you died is that you're in the fight for a super long time after Fermin called out. It may have helped Ranga, and that's fine if you're doing it on purpose, but I don't think it was on purpose :P

3. Create an alias for [take vial pack], and I would actually change it to [take fluid pack], since vial can pull red vials as well. I use 8 and 9 as aliases to get a vial out and quaff it. It's too important to risk typoing.

4. Once you were fleeing around, change posture to defensive for the extra stats.

5. Keep posting logs!

The rocky ground to the north steadily gives way to a muddy trail,
interspaced with pools of black slime from a bog to the east. Bubbles
on the surface frequently burst, releasing fetid vapors of brimstone
into the air. The mud makes travel treacherous and uncertain.

come. Tiny bones of birds can be spotted along the shore, yet to be
consumed by the mud. An overgrown trail extends out of the bog to the east.

Forgotten Trail
Diseased roots spread like gnarled fingers across the ground as if in
attempt to conceal the dark trail. A tall thick post juts up from the
ground, a crooked sign remains attached by one nail to the post. The

definite tinge of decay and death.

The beginnings of a small path amidst the rot of the Blight is here, coursing

chaotic anarchy. Travel is marginally more comfortable here than in the
forest. The horizon to the north is dominated by the Mountains of Dhoom, a
jagged series of peaks strutting out from the bitter earth. The Blight goes
on to the north and south, a rotting mass with noxious, sickly fumes.

touch of every plant and blade of grass. Dark leaves shiver as you near
them, and branches twist eagerly in your direction. The sickly colors of
the forest grate on your nerves, the pale yellows and streaky reds a
mockery of natural purity. The hot and sweet air makes your lungs strain
and rebel in protest.

Disgusting warped shapes that are a corruption of nature spring about you.

This deep in the Blight it is impossible to see anything except the stunted
growths rising about you. Sickly pale yellow trees with black and red leaves
creak noisily about you. Far off to the distant north you can see the
Mountains of Dhoom. It would not take much more than a smouldering cinder
to set off a massive forest fire in the surrounding area.

The stairs leading up to the entrance are made of the same stone that the
monastery was built with. There are thirteen steps up to what once was a
gate, but now is only a gateway. Bones and marks of blades on the steps are

yard, and to the east the gaping hole that was once the entrance to the
monastery awaits.

From 1s mire, don't DL [e], unless you're coming back to change faceoff. I suggest either [u] or nothing. Fleeing again from 1w gives you a safe [n] DL. I do hate getting the south flee, since it's an annoying room to get caught in, but you did the right thing which is running to stedding.

Going singer was fine here, since there were actually a decent number of LS around that just needed to regroup. If you're not sure whether or not your notice is on, and you know there's a stabber around, the best thing to do is move rooms before checking, ideally moving into a room that you haven't just walked through.

From inside TS ent, you usually want to DL [w], whether you're trying to get out or not. Likewise, once you were caught at the outside ent, you want to DL [s], even if you're trying to ultimately get out. What stedding is really good for is splitting up groups on little mobs here and there. Trolloc fleelag will build faster than yours, they'll take more damage with 3-4 mobs on them, and you end up with fewer people on you at a time. Your defense was working pretty good, so you probably were in less danger than you thought, as long as you didn't keep walking into them or staying in their room too long. Just feels bad to lose a ton of HPs at once. It might have been helpful to narrate 'all ts' at some point, so the other LS could feel good about moving around without getting stuck somewhere.
