With this change, I'd suggest taking another look the capabilities of some of the lighter med blades, and possibly taking another look at some of the 1h long blades.

Otherwise, in my opinion at least, the sliver plated sword, twisted iron scimitar, and ring-quillioned sword are the only dodge/combo swords worth using in the long run (unless that was the intent).

Relevant weapons below, for reference:

a ring-quilloned sword 66 35 3d7 6.0 slash 1
a scimitar with a hilt of twisted iron 83 25 8d4 13.0 slice 1
a shining silver plated sword 80 26 6d5 15.0 slash 1

a blue steel scimitar 79 25 6d3 7.0 slash 1
a bone-handled blade 78 26 4d7 4.0 slash 1
a plain, slightly curved blade 80 22 4d5 5.0 slice 1
a razored falcata 77 27 5d4 5.0 slice 1

a brass hilted general's sword 79 15 5d6 14.5 slash 1
a pale steel longsword 76 32 4d7 10.5 slash 1
an oddly curved longsword 80 28 6d5 12.5 slash 1
an ivory and gold-hilted longsword 82 23 4d8 13.5 slash 1

This staff does not crush as advertised! It is a puny striking staff! Please fix this ASAP! Major major MAJOR disappointment!!!

Convert darkened steel trident back into oddly curved greatsword. The stats on it make it much worse than other rares. While the trade off being its 2h. I can accept that. But you also add in the fact it’s a polearm and all the regear options are trash. At least if it was a long you have options with colossal, gargantuan, wsl. People might actually play them!

Your listing abs weapons regears. There not that bad really. There a lower defense 2h rare with sometimes solid bash. The problem is no one wants to go polearms I think lol. If they were made a 2h sword again they probably would be made abs. Something I wouldn't care for personally but. They are a pretty viable abs or heavy combo weapon either way.

The point was having any viable option worth using.

Halberds are very much viable if you are fine going abs
