Spreading the Light

Postby hasp » Sat Oct 07, 2017 12:40 pm

Four people in FD needed severe help against 4 ds i guess? Anywho, I go to WH and tell them I am on the way up. As I get there they said they left...Good times. I find the four and go sit Aglemar. Zhai comes and they run off so I leave. As I am leaving Omri keeps asking me to take a gate to get safe. Nice try! So I go Cairhien where we have some support and this ensues.

Cairhien Headquarter's of the Children
This is a fairly large house with high beamed ceilings giving a feeling of
space. A beautiful Domani rug covers the polished wooden floor, and several
comfortable sofas and chairs lie in the corners. A silver pitcher of mulled
wine rests atop a round table. The windows facing the street have been
covered in violet drapes but a window on the north wall gives a view of a
small garden nestled in a courtyard.

Outside a Manor Home
A large manor home rises from the ground to the west. Although the manor is
newly constructed, the outlying edges of the property are scorched. However
small green shoots are starting to emerge from the black marred land. A
large wooden frontdoor stands before you while the south opens out to a
major lane of traffic in the city.

Hasp narrates 'You left me to die once and you want me to try again?'

Hasp narrates 'Again, after all your lies, what can I trust from you?'

Alas, you cannot go that way...

Between The Buildings
Tall buildings block out any form of natural light, casting shadows that
play along the walls. The space between the buildings is narrow, with space
for only about two people to squah by each other in passing. Small piles of
garbage create homes for rats that scurry along the ground. Hungry dogs
hide in the darkness and watch the people that pass.
[ obvious exits: N S ]1186
A watchguard surveys the city streets here.

Laman's Way
The open lane runs off to the east and west. To the south, a wide walkway
winds around the city, passing by stores, craftmen's shops, and the houses
of the people who reside in the city. A dark alley runs between the
buildings, trash and smelly refuse piled high by the citizens who take no
pride in their city. In the middle of the street, square boxes divide the
road, and flowering plants, arranged just so, add brightness and color to
the city.
[ obvious exits: N E S W ]1135
An oil lamp, set in a steel cage, hangs from a high wooden pole.

Laman's Way
The broad roadway continues it run to the east and west. A few of the
cobblestones in the street have worked their way loose and now stick
slightly out of joint with the other stones. The small flower boxes line
the road, and the precision of the colorful, potted flowers puts even the
most exact lines to shame. A small, seedy bar sits just off the road, and
the hum of the crowd inside spills out into the street.

An oil lamp, set in a steel cage, hangs from a high wooden pole.
A drunken fool staggers in no particular direction.

Defender of the Dragonwall
A small, tidy common room sits just off the front door to the inn. Sturdy
tables and benches fill the room, and a gentle hum fills the air as the
patrons sit and talk over good ale and hearty food. The kitchen can be seen
through the doorway in the common room, a constant stir of movement coming
from inside as cooks and bar maids hurry about to please the customers. The
stairwell to the room is partially blocked by a stout innkeeper who keeps
an eye on the patrons. A sign hangs on the wall.

A ledger lies on a small stand.
[ obvious exits: S ]1189
A stout wooden barrel stands nearby.
An oven stands here, radiating a dry heat.
A bookshelf made from imported wood stands against the wall here.
A board listing the events and festivals of the land is mounted on a wall.
A grand master of the guild ambles by with confidence.
The plump innkeeper welcomes you to his inn.

Omri narrates 'Coward. I will face you all shortly'
